Who’s Who in Equine Compassion Book Project 

Lexington, KY, August 2011 — Marti McGinnis, through her online equine rights persona of Merry Horses (http://www.facebook.com/merryhorses) has announced a new project that brings together everyone who wants to tell the world they “care what happens to equines” into one volume.  McGinnis hopes to have listed in whatever way they care to identify themselves, everyone who has an interest in some aspect of equine welfare. From horse-crazy girls, to experienced trainers, breeders, the businesses who serve them and organizations who re-train and re-home horses and ponies the world over. “The folks who care for unwanted, abandoned and otherwise unmarketable horses often find themselves feeling as though their compassion is a lonely island.”, McGinnis says. “With a big thick book like the one I think we’re going to create they will have physical evidence of the wealth of hope ‘out there’ that should help brighten the dark hours.”, she continues.

The book will be available later this spring through Amazon.com at a nominal fee and as an animated flash book or pdf file online. Basic listings are free of charge and display ad, advertorial and other space option upgrades are available in several economical choices. People who do business with any aspect of the equine industries are also welcomed to participate. “What better way to convey a positive image throughout the equine world for your organization than to be be a part of this project!”, McGinnis asserts.
